Default Trouble starting & Staying running

Hey guys It's been a while and I hope everything on the forum has been good. My buddy has a Kota that has the 3.9L and is having trouble with it starting as well as staying running at idle. When your driving it around it's fine. He has to give it a little throttle in order to get it started. My guess is that it has something to do with the TPS or IAC but he said he changed those and it didn't make a difference. Any ideas on what might be the cause? Thanks

Battery is going bad! ECM is very sensitive to low voltage.

I definitively would say the batter. I had that problem a few times then about 2 months later my battery kicked the bucket and wouldn't even take a jump.
