Default Finished my newest project - A flag pole!

I finished up my latest project. A removeable flag pole! If anyone is intrested heres a build thread:

Required Materials:
5 ft of ABS
2 x U-clamp
4 x number 10 metal screws
4 x washer
2 x zip ties (bigger is better)
1 x drill bit of approx the same size
2 x snap clip (thats what i call em see the pic for what it really is)
1 x flag of your choice

First start of by heading to your local hard ware store and picking up these materials. I got 1 1/4" ABS but you can use anything you feel is strong enough. Cost me about $15.

Start off by taking your length of ABS and placing it where you want the flag to fly. I put it in the middle of the front of the box between my 2 whips. Next attach the second u-clamp at the bottom of the box. You'll need longer screws here than at the top. Next drill a hole at the top of the pipe. Take a zip tie and attach one of the snap clips to the top of the pole. Attach your flag and hold it evenly along the pole and drill your second hole there. Attach the other clip there via a zip tie. Attach your flag and there ya go! Flag is easily removeable and so it the pole!
