Extend Lower Ball Joint Zerks?
<sigh>
I can't even believe that I'm having to ask this, but I discovered this weekend that the guys that installed my new ball joints didn't point the zerk fittings forward, so there's no way I can get a grease fitting on them. The zerk's are at a 45 degree angle so there's not enough room between the zerk and the driveshaft above it.
Is there any way to extend the fitting?
I don't think I could even replace it with a 90-degree fitting, the clearance is that tight.

Thought I'd follow up on this. The shop replaced the standard fitting with one that will accept a coupler/needlepoint grease gun fitting.

Works like a charm.
And to answer 98dakaz question, 1) because I'm not sure they greased them when they installed them (long story) and 2) I'm **** retentive about my truck. :-)
