what is the biggest motor and best tranny that would drop into a 98 dakota
I have a 98 dakota with a 15" suspension lift sitting on a ford 9" rear end and a dana 44 front currently with only a 6 cyl but im wanting a much larger engine with a minimal of modifications as possible any ideas?

360 v8 and the 46RE, drops right in. Grab the V8 PCM and wiring harness, slap it in and you're done.
