Default 02 3.9 Dakota misfire

My 2002 3.9 dakota has an intermitent missfire on #3 cyllinder, I was wondering how many others have had this problem, and what the cure was. I have had it to many garages, and they are stumped. My thoughts are that it may be a roller lifter with a flat on the roller because the spark plug looks perfect color. Any ideas would be welcomed.

I'm having a similar issue and have found my misfire on cylinder#1 I also have a 4.7L v8 so might be different but I found on other forums that it might be the ignition coil. also I was wondering if anyone has thought of injector issues ?

I don't think the magnums use a roller lifter, I think they're solids.

Check the plug wire and coil wire. I had a misfire develop due to corrosion of the center coil post on the dizzy cap.
