I have a 2001 Quad cab 4x4 with 4.7. I also have a 1982 Jeep Wagoneer out back and noticed that the axle width is exactly the same as my Dakota. The Jeep has leaf suspension front and back and solid diffs as well. I'm talking about ripping the front end right out of the Dakota and bolting in the solid axle leaf front and rear to match........and adding a substantial lift in the process of course ......a bit of fabrication needed! Has anyone heard of this kind of project being done? All input much appreciated!
