Does anybody have OBD-II MODE $06 test and component definitions for 2001?

Default Does anybody have OBD-II MODE $06 test and component definitions for 2001?

Can anybody provide the Chrysler / Dodge Dakota TID (Test ID) & CID (Component ID) definitions for MODE 6 data?
Specifically for a 2001 Dakota.

I have searched the internet and only found generic information, I would really like to get the Chrysler / Dodge info.
I found one Chrysler / Dodge page, but it is for 1997 & 1998, does anyone have this page for 2001?
Its labeled as:

I have the same problem as you. I think these refer to o2 sensor 1/1 Half- Cycle Counter and o2 sensor 2/1 Half-Cycle Counter. I just don't know where to go from here to fix this problem. I already replaced my o2 sensors with new NTK.

Well I found out that the o2 sensor 1/1 Half- Cycle Counter and o2 sensor 2/1 Half-Cycle Counter means that the upstream o2's are not switching fast enough between rich and lean and the PCM will fail them on a Mode 6 test scan. I am stumped because I replaced mine with NTK which makes the OEM o2's for dodge. The old ones I removed had NTK on them. They are the same sensor. Why would o2's do this if they are the same as the OEM's? PCM was reset after I replaced mine.

I still have not found much info on this yet.
I am now looking into buying a 2001 Dodge Dakota Powertrain Diagnostic Manual and "hoping" that there "may" be more info on this subject.

I too, have found the info about the TID & CID, and like you, I have no idea on where to go from here as far as a next step troubleshooting step.

My background is this:
- I had a P fail code for the left side - after cat - o2 sensor.
- I replaced that o2 sensor with the NGK OEM o2 sensor and removed that battery cable to reset.
- My check engine light has not came back on yet, about a month later now and still no check engine light yet.
- But I wanted to invoke a Mode 06 test to see if any new fail codes would be set.
- After I ran the Mode 06 test, still no check engine light, but I failed the above two Mode 06 tests.

Please post back what you learn & I will do the same.

I am curious to what symptoms you are having with your truck? I am currently having a Rough Idle I am trying to fix. My Mode $06 test results are:

TID:$11 CID:$01
-
Min: 49
Test result value: 11
FAIL


TID:$31 CID:$01
-
Min: 40
Test result value: 14
FAIL

Everything else passes. I have checked or replaced every sensor, given the truck a full tune-up, check compression, fuel pressure, vac lines, cleaned throttle body and still can't fix the rough idle.

Actually I am not having, nor ever did have, any symptoms or issues.
When the check engine light came on with the P code for the o2 sensor, my truck still ran fine and had no issues, just the check engine light on.

After replacing the o2 sensor with the OEM NTK o2 sensor my check engine light has not come back on yet, and I have no symptoms or drivability issues.

In the past I read alot about the mode 06 tests, and how people use this test to confirm that they indeed have resolved their check engine light issues.

So when I check engine light came on, I was very interested in learning more about mode 06 testing.

After replacing the o2 sensor, I was very anxious to run the mode 06 tests and expected to see all tests pass, but my test failed on two tests.

So looking back in hindsight, I am very fortunate to:
A. Have the replacement o2 sensor resolve my check engine light issue.
B. Not have my check engine light come back on.
C. Have no symptoms or drivability issues.

But, my interests in learning more about mode 06 tests and my two failed tests have me wanting to further pursue my two failed tests.

I am using the 95.00 Kiwi obd2 blue tooth adapter & the Torque Android smart phone app for my tests.

I guess its very possible for my issue to possibly be a Torque App bug?

My plan is to obtain the 2001 Dodge Dakota Powertrain Diagnostic Manual and further review. I also plan to run the mode 06 test from a true scan tool to compare test results.

Please do keep my updated on your issue.

Also, I see that your 2002 mode 06 info is much more advanced than my 2001 mode 06 info...

Below is the 2001 mode 06 data that I have found...

Glad to see someone else with the same codes I have. No check engine light everything seems to be operating fine but my ****-ism wants perfection. I recently got the V1.5 Mini Bluetooth ELM327 OBDII OBD-II OBD2 Protocols Auto Diagnostic Scanner Tool and get a TID: $11 CID: $01 not OK. -Great device tool --I can't figure out what is not ok other then me.
