Default Its Time To Lift

i want to lift my truck up. its been called little on more than one occasion.. do i get a body lift or suspension lift kit? whats the real difference in functionality and the pros and cons of each?

Body lift is cheaper than a suspension lift. Depends on what you want to do with your truck. If It's just to lift it higher, body lift. If your wheeling it a suspension lift is better. I've done both in mine so its about 8" higher than stock.

If you're just after "the look", a body lift is easier and a lot less expensive. But a body lift alone is limited to three inches.

My understanding is if you have a rack and pinion steering you are limited to a body lift. Like BCdakotaboy said depends what you want to do with it.I did a 3 inch body lift and 2 inch blocks in the back and crank the torsion bars in the front.

While installing the PA body lift was a pita I love the look. Best mod to date!
