Default 98 Dakota front tire rubs frame all of a sudden

my Dakota had an alignment about a month ago. It was so bad it wore down the insides of my mud tires. 33's...with a 3" suspension lift.

Last week the front right tire started ebbing on slightly tight turns. Now when i back up and turn the wheel left hard, the big as treads hit the frame and grab it making a hello of a noise.

Why would it suddenly start doing this?

My shocks are shot and had the fronts replaced today and its a bit better but in reverse its still grabbing the frame.

Id like to know why its happening but would be fine installing half inch spaces.

Thanks for any help in advance!

Forget the spacers, that small I dont see worth it, just deal with it, honestly, how often do you NEED to be a full crank when backing up? I have the same problem and just dont push it that far. idk about the rubbing at a slight turn but with 29's it only grabs the frame in reverse for me because of the tread pattern is directional on my tires.

my question is how were you not rubbing the whole time with the 33s, do you have aftermarket rims or something with hella backspacing?
