That looks like the way to go, for the OTC do you disconnect the fuel line from the rail to hook this up?

Default their is a port on the rail

No their is a port on the rail that it hooks up to remember this tool needs air presser for it to work so you need an air pump/air tool thats my understanding thats because you need the cleaner under presser like it is comming from your fuel pump.

Some shops offer the same thing like I said in and out for $70 to $100 they use the same tool.

Usualy you would only need to do this every 5 or 7 years if after the cleaning you start using an in tank cleaner like redline or chevron every three months to keep them clean so think on that.

True, I understand, local shop does this for $99 which is the way I would go, but I do not mind getting my hands dirty.

Just be sure that the shop is doing it right. The "fuel system service" that most shops offer in my area are a joke. Basically they install a new fuel filter and throw some cleaner in the tank.

My OTC kit has paid for it self several times over, I have used it to clean all my cars and several of my friends car. You will have to buy a fuel rail adapter. They sell massive kits but you should be able to order just one nozzle that will attache to the dodge fuel rail.

Wink Dust collectors

Good point make sure what they are doing for you ask questions.

I look at it this way I already have a ton of tools and dont want another one that may just sit on a shelf for 5 years getting in the way of things I already have too many of those collecting dust and garage space.

haha no.

By the time you piece that together including the hose and fittings you will not be saving that much money. I would bet good money that thing is a PITA to refill and probably leaks.

Exclamation

I would worry it would blow up in my face and the cleaner dissolving the plastic that stuff is strong

I do think that tool is way over priced for what it is.

That video made me seasick that thing was all over the place and every angel even on its side a few times what was that guy on?
