Does someone out there know where to get the info for swapping a manual transfer case in to replace the electronic pos that they put in the 2001's and up? I recently had the tccm quit working after my battery died and I replaced it, Even though I have replaced the tccm I do not have faith in my dakota that I will not become stranded at some time in the future because of it failing again. I find it hard to believe that I cannot find tons of info about guys/gals doing swaps to get away from this plauge that Dodge bestowed upon us with no real resolution or support from the company. I love my Dakota, but this electronic transfer case is enough cause for me to sell this truck and get something older that still has a manual shifting transfer case. Any thoughts?
