Airbag light

Airbag light
I recently put in a new head unit but forgot to disconnect the battery as I was hooking everything up. I had to disconnect the passenger airbag switch in order to replace the stock system but its all hooked up right now. The airbag light won't shut off now though. Any suggestions?

Pull the dash panel again and be sure the air bag switch is plugged in securely. For an air bag connector, the plug itself is pretty weak and it can come loose easily when you reinstall the dash panel.
If the switch is plugged in, disconnect the negative battery cable, turn the ignition key to the start position, hold it there for 10 seconds, reconnect the battery and see if the air bag light goes out. If it is still on, you need to look for other wires or connectors that are loose or unplugged.
