I have just recently swapped my factory deck out (1.5 Din) for a new double din. Don't know if anyone is interested but here it is...

 

Wow that is sweet! Looks great. How did you cut the dash so clean like that? That is slicker than owl **** on a wet log! I have only seen pics of one other 01 Dakota with a double din head unit and it looked like total garbage compared to yours.

I have never attempted anything like this before and I gotta tell you, it was easy. it's not so much making a clean cut, its the work you do after the cut.
