Default Need a few things fixed - prices?

From my pre inspection on my 03 Dakota I was told it needs front engine seal , rear diff pinion seal, rear sway bar bushings, tranny flush .

First off what should I expect to pay parts and labor for each of these? Are any of them fairly easy to do myself ? (not used to these trucks but did a lot of work on my old cars)

Less than 10.00 each for the seals. I did both seals on my truck, it wasn't too difficult. I have right ups for both I think. Tranny Flush? umm, I will let others chime in on that but I think most would say dont waste your money. The sway bar bushing are also less than 10.00 and easy to replace.

Seals are cheap enough but if you throw in labor they just got expensive. Fairly easy to replace. Get a good manual and it will help you out with steps needed and is less expensive than having someone doing it for you.Sway bar is pretty straight forward couple bolts and it is off. If truck is new to you I would opt for the flush the first time.

He said the fluid was too dirty in the tranny and needs a flush. It shifts perfectly fine, but that's what I was told.

If its red and doesnt have a burnt smell to it then the fluid is fine.

I need to replace the crankshaft front oil seal on my 2004 Dakota 4.7L and the dealership quoted me $220 and a local shop wants $330. I'm interested in your write-ups...Any links? I'm not afraid to tackle this project but not sure how extensive it is.
