Default brush guard

I just bought a brush guard for my truck for pretty cheap, it came off of a 98 dakota. It's looks like it took a beating from hitting a small tree or something, but nothing a nice torch and hammer can't take care of. I'll be sure to bring it back to life again, for those of you concerned

Anyways, my question is how to mount the darn thing.
I don't have the mounting brackets, so I was hoping that someone can take a couple pics of theirs and show me what the mount/bracket looks like so I can: 1. see where exactly it gets bolted on, 2. search around and buy the right part, or try to make my own given the supplied bracket as a template

Any input would be great

Do you happen to know what brand of brush guard it is?

Unfortunately no...I only just got it the other day, and I haven't had the time to fix it up so I haven't really looked at yet. I'll go check it out and take a couple pics of it and hopefully I'll be able to match to some brands online or someone here couple identify it for me

Almost the same thing happened to me. I have a Westin full brush guard, for an 97 Dakota. The bracket that is missing are the lower ones, that connect to the frame. I have to top ones that connect to the bumper. I can cut new ones out of 10 ga sheet metal but I need to know the size. I believe its in a form of a l or j shape.

On westin's website, they actually have instruction sheets which show you how the bracket pieces that connect to the frame. I was going to post them on here but the file is too big.

I had to remake mine after I put the body lift in. It's a westin btw. Made new ones out of stainless steel in the shape of a 'h' to allow the bush guard to ride at the correct height. Might have some pics I can post...
