new springs?
I recently bought my 99 dakota 5.2l. Its lowered 4 in. In front 5in. Rear with a djm lowering kit and I replaced with djm shocks (what i could afford)when I bought it. Truck is still pretty bouncy.found out the springs were cut. So I'm hoping new springs will help ride quality? Also any opinions on what ones? Also I'm Wondering if I just need to get better front shocks and any opinions on those
I'm guessing both would be a good idea. Thanks for any input

You are 2WD correct if so then replacing the springs is not too hard to do especialy if the top ball joints have been replaced with bolt on top ball joints.
Just follow the manual make sure to get new spring isolators for the new springs and smooth out the top of the springs take down any sharp points with a file or the spring will cut into your isolators bad like a knife.
This may help https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...-w-pics-3.html
Oh and dont use a spring compressor just drop the spring out the bottom way easyer to do and less danger of getting hurt
