New to the forum as well as new to bring a DIY mechanic. I've got a ticking noise that i tracked with a stethoscope to ??fuel injectors?? on one side of the motor right under spark plugs. I've been using Lucas fuel injector cleaners and other additives occasionally before even noticing, tracking and finding the source of the slight tick. Any ideas?

 

Mine have ticked since the day i got it. They are just opening and closing. Unless yours is abnormally louder than the rest of them i wouldn't worry much

run marvel mystery oil in the gasoline. might help.

 

It's not terribly loud, they could of been ticking all along but never noticed it since i just recently started troubleshooting and fixing my truck by myself. I'll try marvel. I also plan on replacing spark plugs with the recommended champion. Thanks all.
