goold luck man, im doin the same thing, but for different reasons. im rebuilding mine for trailer nad load hauling. i plan on a chry 9.25 rear 45re trans, and the 3.9 until i can either get a 5.9 or a cummings diesel in that bitch.. shes also gettin a 2" suspension with full time helper springs in the rear, and a 2-3" body lift.. it also has a custom made stake/dump body

what is ur start platform? 98 dak with what motor, trans, and rear end?

Thats sounds like a fun build! It started as a 98 318 hd nv3500 9.25.
It is now a la 318 for now, same trans, 3.23 gears locker 35 spline axles gridle for the 9.25
