01 body lift
dude good luck, haha im from clinton and cant find a shop to do it... so aside from fixin a bunch of other sh*t on the truck, im doing a body lift on my own, 3" body lift on a 2000 dakota 3.9L custom dump body..
but in theory any mechanic can do it.. its just a matter of price, and time in the shop. if i had a shop and a lift, id say come to me and ill do it.. it is an install that is capable of being done in a driveway in one day. ive done it before to jeeps and ram 1500's so a dakota aint too far of a strech..

Yeah, I would do it myself but I'm 17 and not too experienced. I need it to get to work so I don't wanna start and run into complications and not be able to use it. I figured I'd just pay extra and get rid of the hassle and possible bad outcome.
Body lift pretty easy to install. 2 or more person could do it in 8-10 hrs. Go here to see a instruction sheet.

Kit comes with everything you need. On my 4.7 the only modifications had to make were to extend the lower radiator hose and cut some of the lower shroud for clearance of the fan.

I just found a shop in Westfield called Full Tilt Fabrication that does body lifts. They are big into the off road stuff so theyll also do cages and motor swaps and custom bumpers and suspensions. Im gonna give them a call today and see what theyll charge for the lift
