I just picked up a 4.7 long block with a 150k for 75$ last week we broke the whole motor down the thing still looks brand new like all the bearings were put in the day before the factory cross hatch is still their the rings had a end gap of .19 the book allows up to .25 nothing need to be bored out the motor had a blown head gasket and was having a miss so the guys boss wanted a new motor dropped in how much would the block be worth ?

i don't think i am understanding what you are asking. it sounds like you already paid 75 dollars for it. it is one long run on sentence.

Seems to me he wants to sell it now. Purchased cheap and flip it?

I'd say it will be worth what someone is willing to pay for a clean engine with 150K miles. I guess some might pay $100, others might pay $1,500.

My $.02

Enjoy the ride!

We bought the motor to rebuild and have ready to swap in my dakota since it has over 200k
And with the condition it was in I was just wondering what it is worth when we tore it down it had a lot of build up in it we are also working on designing a intake for it . Then after the rebuilt is put in we are building up the orginal motor with forged pistons and rods and looking for the supercharger for it dose anyone know where I can ge the cams from what iv heard they stopped making the cams for the super charger
