All checked out good in the TB. Also it stopped making that noise then returned breifly when I was driving it today then went away. The noise would appear when applying gas and that's when it'd bog down. If I take my foot off the gas, it'd go away. Besides earlier today, it won't make that noise but still has the symptoms.

At a loss of ideas here but appreciate everyone's help. I guess I'll take it in to the mechanic and see if they can help me. I would be kind of interested in testing the fuel pressure.

My truck doesn't have any problems running but it hisses at part throttle. Not sure if its the TB or injectors. I just did a full cleaning of the TB and it got a little more noticeable but I also ran a double dose of STP fuel injector cleaner that tank too. SO no clue where its from. Jut its one of those 2 for sure.

Wow I kind of put this on the back burner but it was really getting annoying so today I was tinkering around with it with no new ideas. I didn't think it was a vac leak cause I noticed the top of the CAI on the TB was being sucked down when I opened the throttle. For some odd reason, I thought I'd take the intake off and drive it around -- problem solved.

I have this CAI and the cone filter I put on doesn't have a clamp. (kind of wedges on there) Turns out the filter was all the way on there so the metal pipe was up against the top end of the filter causing my engine to starve for air. That sucking noise must of been coming from what little air it could suck through the CAI. Pulled the filter down to where it should go and it runs great. Feels good to hit the gas pedal and watch the speedo needle fly.

What a simple solution that made me feel like a retard. Really embarrassing considering I always think highly of my mechanical skills. Sooooo embarrassing.

Wow whoops! Always clamp stuff on! If you don't have the right materials no sense doing something until you do
