Default Custom upper control arm mounts

So i am bulding and fabbing together a mid travel kit for my truck. 2.0 8 inch F.O.A resi shocks in the front and 2.5 14 incher in the rear with a custom bed cage. im goin for a simple prerunner/showrunner. i will be using the Doetsch upper control arms and cutting he top off my coil bucket to put the bigger shock through and mount it on tabs i will weld on. But my concer is the uppee arms. the way dodge has em mounted is lame. i want to mount the upper arms straight to the frame.
havent seen it done except for long travel kits such as Cali01dak. i was wondering if this could work. just weld 4 tabs on and put the control arm on them. will it work alignment wise?

No. To get proper camber and caster adjustment, both control arms must be freely mounted. Camber is set with offset bolt shims on the CLA's and the slots in the UCA's, and caster is set by turning the UCA on it's slotted mounts.

This is correct, but it could work if you somehow made the lower control arms adjustable. Probably not worth the trouble, though.

i am not sure what they offer for rams. i do know that dodge is the worst truck to pick if you wanna make a prerunner cuz they have no pre made kits. u have to go custom. they make stuff but u have to look around a lot. I would look for long travel kits for your truck. that consists of upper arms new spindles and new lowers. heimed steering and uniballed spindle. and resi shocks or coilovers for the front. looong expensive process.
