Update to keyless entry
So this is what I did to revive the keyless entry on my truck.
Contacted Dodge and got the build sheet.
Contacted local dealership to get the part number for the key fob. Dodge will not email p/n to you.
Search for a replacement fob.Ended up with a used one from Keyless4u through E-Bay. They are located in Pennsylvania. Shipped fast and got what I needed. Fob was $27. Seen them as low as $13.
Took the truck to local dealership to be program. It was $45 and took 10 mins.
Ordered a 2nd fob but you can program it yourself.
Works good. So for $67 got it working. Reason have 2 year old grandson and when I or my wife have him make's it easier on us. These days you have to lock up what little you have.
