Well changed the fluid and filter in my truck and like an idiot tightened a bolt a little too much and stripped a thread. I was wondering what would be the cheapest way to fix the damaged threads i was thinking about using a helicoil thread repair kit but i dont know the size and pitch of the transmission bolt, or if i could get away using a longer bolt.
