went to start the 97 dakota (5.2) and she wounldn't fire off. starter turns the engine over and the battery is good. i did the ignition on/off trick, it gave me the code 55 (or SS which ever it should be.) does anyone know what that means?

 

ok, the (55) is the shown in the odometer when the code is being stored. however the truck still will start. being that this is the first real cold day, does any one have any ideas on what to look at? battery is good - turns the engine over geed and strong. all the fuses are good too.
