Which TCM do I use? More importantly, which vehicle do I pull it out of when I am at the junkyard?

Everyone says jeep, but what model? Is it anything besides a dakota/durango with a 4.7?

What are you wanting to do with the TCM? Do you need a new one or is this part of a mod you are doing?

 

The mod which jeep eventually made to a 99 year model which changes a 45rfe trans to a 545rfe, using the overdrive gear as a fifth.

 

Ahhh, i did the same mod on my 02 Ram with the 45rfe. There is a guy on ********* that will send you the proper TCM if you send him your old one and $50. Or at least that was the deal a few years back. Many of us early Ram owners did that. If I remember right it made a decent upgrade. I think it was out of a Grand Cherokee
