Default feeling stupid.....need help with 4.7

I have a 2001 Dakota 4.7 QC with 5 speed manual. I thought I'd pick up a PCV valve and put it in when I did an oil change. Well I got one from the parts place but I can't figure out where it goes! I made them triple check the part and they say it's right. It (the PCV valve) has threads on it so it must screw in somewhere. I hunted all over that motor.......anybody know?????????

I have heard it on the one of the valve covers, or maybe both.

Not a dakota, but I have a 2001 Grand cherokee 4.7 and the PCV valve is on the passenger side of the oil filler neck. It fits in and turns about 1/4 of a turn to lock the tab in. Hope this helps.
