Default Hi lift jack

I just found out about those hi lift jacks, does anyone have them and what do you use for your truck when you end up getting a flat tire? I've been lucky to have never have a flat with my tires in 12 years driving my 2001 Dakota(knock on wood head). They look like they might make things easier in jacking up our Dakotas...

Unless you're significantly lifted (6"+), I'd say the cost isn't worth it for the amount of times you'd use it. I might get one for my Ford, but thats lifted 7" and going to be on 38" tires. If you're lifted just a bit, just put a piece of a 4x4 in your bed to put under the stock jack to give you a few extra inches of lift.

Imo they are a waste of money unless you have a lifted truck like dirtbiker said. I've never had a problem with the factory scissor jacks that dodge had. Was always more than enough to lift the truck off the ground. Not to mention they are nice and compact.
