It's the camera flash. I think they'll look better on the truck.

I'm not a fan of the edges either, but I like the housings overall. When I unboxed them, dad said they looked more like $250 than $120.

That’s what always blows with anything you buy online it never looks the same as the pic's when it shows up.

Oh well a touch of Vegas in the Dakota slap them in and let’s see the King Elvis will be smiling.

My 35W HID Ballasts arrive on thursday, and Wes Garrett is sending me new 800 series light bulb pigtails. As long as the bulbs are fine, and I think they are, I should have all 290 watts of lighting functional by next weekend.

(55W + 55W low beams) + (55W + 55W driving lamps) + (35W + 35W HID fogs) = 290 Watts

(65W + 65W high beams) + (35W + 35W HID fogs) = 200 Watts

This is the same setup I had before, except the aiming was incorrect, and the stock housings were beyond yellowed. Now everything is aimed in one solid light beam, and all the lenses are a nice clean crystal clear. I really can't wait to see what my illumination distance is.

Got the bumper done. I did 6 coats, one can lasted exactly 4. I figure the half a can I have left should be enough for 3-4 coats on the grille when I get to it.
