Default Where to buy/confusion

Hello all,

I own my truck for 11 years now and I recently decided to do some work on it, since I figure out I can turn my Dakota into truck I want instead paying big money for used one. Anyways, I am searching online for parts I need and stuff I want to pimp my truck up and I am someone who always research the site I am buying from first, and I am in TOTAL SHOCK! Just about all parts/accessories sites have such a horrible reviews from people. I actually called some of them to find out if they actually have the part I need in stock and almost none have. Today I called website autocarparts com (I couldn't find any responsible review for them) and I can't believe what that guy I talk to told me. He said that they don't use that site anymore and I should use their current site andysautosport com (btw I already research that site and its horrible) so I asked how many sites they actually have and he said 5 or 6 but they don't sell out of them anymore. Well I didn't find one site yet I would be actually conferrable to buy from, so my question is for you all "where do you buy all your accessories and parts you need and want?.

Thanks all

What kind of parts are you looking for? That makes a difference to where you shop for them.

With the economy being in the crapper these days, most mail order companies don't stock a bunch of parts. They can't afford to. They just drop ship them from the manufacturers.

My favorite mail order place is Summit Racing. They actually do stock most of what they sell and I usually get it the next day if I order by 6PM. Maybe give them a shot? Also ebay has a good selection of parts, but how "good" they are depends on the individual seller.
