rear diff leaking

Well ask the guys that did my dads pinion seal on his grand cherokee.... 200 miles and 1,200 later the wrecked bearing was replaced by a reputable shop. We did the rear one and didnt have a problem. If he would of been up here we could of did it.

I'm guessing whoever screwed it up the first time just used an impact wrench and hammered on it.

I'm just saying that I have never personally seen any problems arise from torquing it to spec with a torque wrench. YMMV.
