That's a nice looking bumper and a good price, especially if you don't have to pay any shipping. The inserts are definitely too much, but the grille guard looks good.
I would like a combo of the big bumper merged with their Jeep bumpers pre-runner look. Maybe even design something that incorporates the stock lower plastic bumper...Maybe???
That one is cool, but way to large for me. The design I love is the ARB Toyota bull bars. I've been trying to find a used one from a Toyota or a Jeep GC.

I used tactical armour as my inspiration, should be finished welding it this week and installed by the weekend, also got some body sliders made up matching the bumper. I'll post some pics but they'll be in my Sig pic cause I still can't get pics loaded online.
Any info or good pics of the sliders? I'd love a set but no one seems to sell them for our trucks and I'm far from any kind of metal fabricator...
I haven't found a company that makes them specifically for Dakotas, I took my design from pictures I saw on the net and fabed them up. Fairly easy to make from your local fab shop, shouldn't cost too much imo. Check craigslist lots of adds from welders and such looking for work.

Yeah, I have a guy that will do the welding for me, just wondering what size/thickness steel you used
I used 10 gauge for the frame and 1.25 schedule 40 pipe for the bars. Capped both ends for rigidity and strength and the same pipe to attach to the frame with gussets and plates. The whole slider bars just bolt on, weigh about 20 lbs.
