Try building your own:

Or just search shallow mount boxes and subs if you don't have the tools/want to build your own.

About how much did that cost you to build your own?

Well I had all the tools. The wood cost me maybe 30 for a full sheet. Terminal was 7 and paint was 5.

So 42 for me and that's enough for 2 or 3 boxes if u cut it right.

That's about what mine was. I already had paint, MDF was whatever it costs for a full sheet, I didn't use a terminal cup. I have 2 subs in my truck, a GM 6.5" and a Sony 8".

Depends, if you like highs (really punchy bass) then 8's will be fine.

I like a mix of high and lows and I have a 10, but I really wish I went with a 12.

IMO, I wouldn't go with 8's but thats just me, 10 is as low as I will go, especially if you're getting shallow mount subs.
