Clearing 35s on a 2wd?
I am looking to lift a 1998 dodge Dakota single cab 5spd 2wd v6. The ultimate goal is to clear 35 inch tires. To achieve this I assume ill need about 6 inches of lift. First a 3 inch body, next this- http://www.ebay.com/itm/AR-3-Front-L...2eef57&vxp=mtr - Then add some shackles or leafs in the rear. With some trimming will this setup work to clear 35s?
Thanks

With a 3" body and 3" front leveling (probably 2" actual), I think it will be close. Main limitation will be steering angle on the frame rail or sway bar. Bumper will definitely need cutting.
Don't see it working, I'm running 35's on my 4x4 with 3" body, 2" wheel spacers, and reindexed torsion keys. Cleared ok at fist but after a recent alignment and new ball joints(alignment shop decide to drop the front a little) I'm rubbing the front bumper and back side of the fenders like crazy when turning. I'll just say I've been doing a lot of 6 point turns. Also, just curious as to why you want 35's on a 2wd? Why not go all out and do a SAS and go 4 wheelin?
I am going to use it for wheeling. I have always been a fan of having a locked 2wd in addition to my 4x4.
Could I get 2 inch wheel spacers, 3 inch body, 3 inch level with 3 inch add a leaf and trim a lot and make it work?

A lot of trimming might do it, but it'll probably look shabby till its done. This is one you might not know till u try
