I just got a center seat console for my 04 Dakota to replace the stock one and I want to know is it possible to just change out the top (Storage part) with the non-storage one? I know to change the whole thing out I will have to remove the front seats....but if I can avoid the extra work then I'm all for it.

should be able to slide both seats forward and lean forward, and unbolt the swing hinge.
