Default help: 1998 magnum won't stay running

I have a 1998 5.2L Dakota which just turned 100k miles. It ran fine yesterday, but this morning it will start....if i give it gas, but as soon as i let of the pedal it dies. I have to keep around 700 rpms for it to stay running.

Not sure if this could do it, but i replaced the factory radio yesterday and i disconected the battery, but it ran for over 100 miles afterwards.

The only other thing that I know of that is wrong with it is a rusted gas tank filler neck, which i just haven't gotten around to replacing yet.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
