Default Dual exhaust help

I have a 2002 3.9L and in not sure what type of exhaust to get. I think I'm gonna do a one in two out muffler and 45 exit and 3" tips. But I want an exhaust that will be deep when I start it up and when I start moving at like 10 mph it will sound like I'm taking off, and of course when I floor it it will be loud. Thinking flowmaster 40 or magnaflow.

i recommend the 80 series flowmaster, closest you will get to sounded like a v-8

If you have done your truck with this exhaust let me know how it worked out. I'm thinking about doing my exhaust as well. I was going to go with a dual exhaust and redo everything from the exhaust manifolds back.

Get on youtube a see what you can find. Personally to me the only way to get a v6 to sound good is bumping up the exhaust size. Still doesnt quite sound like a v8 tho.

Just did mine! Got the Magnaflow dual for $20 and my mechanic welded it for $30. It connects from the cat has about a foot of pipe then splits in two with foot long stainless steel tips. Only bad part it that he didn't have the right hanging bushing, so one side is lower than the other. I don't know if I should have them hang low for looks or higher for departing angle...
Kind of dirty since it rained and i couldn't pass up playing in dirt

Imo I think a Dual exhaust on a 3.9L is a waste of money now if all you are after is looks that's cool but that's it.
