Default 04 Dakota Headlight Problem

Hello, I am not sure if this is the proper place to be asking this question, but I have an intermittent problem with my drivers side headlight in an 04 Dodge Dakota, I know that problem is in the wiring from the headlight switch down to the Connector that goes into the "box" behind the driver side kick pannel. does anyone know if I can replace that connector it seems to be a little burnt around the wire for the drivers side headlights. I have been searching for a replacement or a way to fix this, if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default Same problem myself

Cody I am having the same problem in my 02 on the passenger side. My mechanic suspected electrical shorts but so far I haven't found any. Have you resolved this problem yet on your truck?

My problem is the bottom connector on the CTM behind drivers side kick pannel it seems that the wire for the headlight was fault. The real problem I am having is I can not find a replacement connector anywhere. If I can not find a replacement I am going to try and bypass the ctm and run the headlights switch straight to the lead of the headlight the only reason it goes to CTM is for the Automatic headlights (I believe).
