Default Ticking Noise

I just recently noticed a ticking noise coming from the left side(if you are standing in front of the truck) of the motor. It sounds like it is coming from the head but can't really tell. I does sound like it speeds up or gets louder when i am taking off. Any suggestions on what it might be?

Manifold bolts won't be the issue if the gasket is blown out.

yeah i realized after i did it and the front one did move some but i guess i will go get a gasket sometime and replace it. I felt around when i started it and couldn't feel air coming from the headers. I also felt around the valve cover and nothing is hitting it.

The lifter noise is very common, especially with the 4.7. The noise is usually only at startup and lasts a minute, just until the oil gets pumped back up there.

If you replace the exhaust manifold gasket, don't use the white foam ones. Can you make a video of the noise from the inside and outside?

This noise doesn't go away when it is warm and speeds up with he motor. I will try to make a video of it.
