Default Dakota on tee beach?

I'm considering getting a surf tag for my truck but I have my doubts about how well a 3.9L will handle in tee sand, and I'm also gonna put 33s on it. Will it be fine in sand or am I just gonna end up needing someone to pull me out?

Is it 4x4 or not? Does the rear end have a locker or anything?

Power isnt really an issue at those low speeds. Good tires with the right amount of air in them is all you need. Look on the paper in your glove box and see what gears you have also see if you have anti slip differential

You'll be fine... Just air down the tires a bit

i use 4 low in sand, if you get stuck in 2wd and need to put it in 4 wd try reversing out of it in 4wd. a lot of times in fine sand when your rear diff is on the ground you will just sink the front end, but if you reverse out of it it kinda pushed it up outa the hole.

If you air the tires down enough, you'll probably never even need 4WD. In any case, the V6 won't be a problem.
