Drop the tank or ....

Got new fuel pump module Wednesday and back on Wednesday night. Everything went OK Truck is back on the road.
As far as the rusted, rounded nut go. I used a pipe wrench and bruted it off.
Seems it was a body nut and stud with a nut. Not a nut or something welded onto the frame like I thought. Was then able to get a replacement body nut and longer bolt than came in the package of 2 from advance help section and got everything back up.
Took about 5 minutes of key off and on holding the test port on fuel rail to purge all air from fuel system.
Sunday hauled boat to small lake. When I was there Thursday the ramp looked OK. So Sunday I did not look at the ramp. Just took tie-downs off boat, lined up and backed down. Next thing I know BAM 3 foot drop off at bottom of ramp. Boat in water and boat trailer setting on concrete.
Putting boat back on trailer and getting trailer and boat out of water a little rough. Now I need a rear bumper and boat trailer. Current boat trailer looks like a "L". But at least I KNOW the fuel pump is pumping plenty of gas and the 4-wheel drive works great judging from the 4 black marks on the concrete and the disfigured boat trailer.
Took some pics if anyone is interested.

For your enjoyment.
The 3ft drop off.
Attachment 20654
Trailer beside of boat.
Attachment 20653
Different view. Boat still attached to trailer, sort of.
Attachment 20650
Lower case "J" not dotted.
Attachment 20652
Bumper. The trailer pulled off the ball. The safety chains didn't.
Attachment 20651
I want my boss to connect his 2013 Tundra axle to axle to my Dakota.
I'll drag him anywhere he wants to go.

Update.
Well fuel pump is working fine gauge is a different story.
When I got the new fuel pump module the float hand that was on it was installed wrong. By that i mean it was connected in such a way it would not move. I corrected the issue. In doing so I broke a plastic tab that held it in place. Installed it anyway. Had to have the truck for work and did not have time to get another one shipped and this one RMAed.
Well all worked fine until recently. When the gauge would get to 1/2 tank it would drop to empty and then to 1/2 and then to empty. That wasn't as bad as the ding ding ding you get with low fuel light. Drove me nuttier than I already am.
Finally yesterday dropped the tank and put on the old housing that held the ceramic resister plate in place. Also bent the contact that rides on the resister plate a little so they would have better contact. That made the fuel gauge float arm not swing as free as it did before. It would still fall to the empty position under it own weight just not as fast.
Put everything back together, added the gas that I removed and the gauge did come up to about 1/4 tank. Which is where it should be for the amount of gas I put back in (7 to 8 gal with a little still in the tank that I didn't remove.).
Just hope that my repair is going to last.
