Default Air intake

I own a 2001 dodge dakota, 4.7 v8. I recently just put dual exhaust on and love the sound. Dose anyone know if twin air intake will help with gas milage and even make it sound louder?

It might help gas mileage a little. Will not help sound. Tip - If you put a three inch intake on you should have a three inch exhaust set up, allows the same amount of air to go out that comes in. You know even compression and all.

It will help mpg a little but not a big noticeable difference. No need for a twin intake any ebay special will do just as good as the big name brand ones. You can even make a home made setup like a few guys have done here. Exhaust might change very little but you wont be able to tell.

if you listen closely you will beable to hear it sucking in the air with a cold air intake. with the exaust/intake combo on my truck ive found I get worse gas mileage because im always on the throttle listening to the sound!
