steering coloums
so we have two to choose from for our trucks. one has splines and one doesn't. I've talked to a few people from a few dodge dealerships. it seems that for 98-99 the 4x4 has the splines. I'll be pulling mine out to replace, i'll try and get pictures. it shouldn't be to hard since I have the truck in the air with the left tire off as it is (been working on it due to a accident). anyone have any tips? this is the first time i'll be pulling this part off/ installing it.

Dude,
Do a search on this forum for steering columns, clock springs and/or airbags.
Saw some where on here about a year ago or more that the clock spring under the airbag could be damaged if the column turns too many times. (IE when disconnected from steering box.)
Don't remember the post or poster but it's on here. Be careful that you don't hurt the new/donor column or guts of the column.
Think I was doing research on cruise control switches or something?
