Default buying a dakota

I own a 2nd gen ram 1500 and Im in the process of looking for a second truck. Ive been looking at Dakotas and found this one. It has 153,000 miles and they are asking $3400 at the stealership. A Ford stealership even. What is this really worth if everything is functional? and what should I look for when I go to test drive it? It has a few rust spots that I have pictures of but wont let me upload.

Whats the specs on it? I can see its a 3.9 4x4. Depends on condition of everything and where you are located. I'd say 3,400 isnt a great deal but its an ok price for a dealer.

I haven't went and test drove it yet. I know the rams 5.2 and 5.9 L engines have the plenum plate problem, but do these 3.9 L engines ? I replaced the pan on my ram with a Hughes plate, and don't want to do it again, I had bad luck with intake bolts braking off. I'm not so sure the dealer would let me pull the breather off and look down throttle body during a test drive.

The 3.9s have the plenum problem too.
