anybody done a 2002 dodge dakota slt 4x4 4.7 swapped to to a 5.9

 

I will move this to the 2nd generation Dakota sub-forum.

 

It would be much easier to swap to a 5.7.

 

Why do you say that? Everywhere I look, I can find parts for 5.9 and can't find anything for hemi.

Isn't the hemi a complete custom mod? I mean I'd love to have it over a 5.9 but get all the pieces for it seem hard to find

 

From what I have read the hemi is much easier to swap due to being able to use same transmission and the electrical system is similar.

When my 4.7 poops out, hopefully a long time from now, I will probably put in a 5.7.
