Default 2004 dakota seat question

Ok, so I bought a 2004 quad cab in great shape, only real issue is the drivers seat. It's got the power seat that works great but.... the plastic all the switches in had the bolt pull out so it just hangs there. Is there a place to get one if not I will get creative. My big question is that with the power seat I see a lot of the power frames for sale online and mine works great but something in the back of the seat "around middle of my back " is broken, and the cushion is about shot. can I just replace that portion and reuse my existing power seat up?

Yes you can just replace the broken pieces , You may need a set of hog ring pliers for reattaching the covers it is super easy, I have been doing upholstery
for about 25 years.

If it just stripped the threads out of the plastic you can use epoxy to fill the hole, then drill it back out and use a self threading screw to fix it.
my 2003 qc had some lower seat cushion problems. The seat cover is easily removable with no special tools. It just has plastic "j-rails" that hold the cover on.
hope this helps.

By J-rails he means they just hook on I found that out as on the front mine had come unhooked on me just grab and pull down till you can hook it on again presto things are good again. If you cant get it pulled down to the point you can hook them get some one to sit in the seat that helps

JB weld epoxy what ever it takes
