Howdy! Gotta 01 dakota 4.7 4x4, went outside this morning and the darn thing wouldnt start! Cranks with plenty of juice, but just wont start. I can hear my fuel pump go on & just swaped out my plugs bout two weeks ago. Im kinda stumped so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

 

is the engine light on/is it throwing codes? The 4.7 uses individual coils, so it should at least be trying to fire on some holes if there was a spark command sent to the coils -> On the single coils, if it goes out, no spark, on the *.7's, if one or 2 packs go out, it should still fire on 6 or 7 holes, the good coils. So I'd be looking for a cause to not send a spark signal- a bad ground or bad crank position sensor (not fun on the *.7's). Others may know more.
