I had my truck at the local tech school to borrow their alignment machine (I helped them with some electronics stuff in trade), and happened to notice this. Proof again that our trucks are well built....and that loktite is worth it's weight in diamond.

If you don't get it, go look at yours and compare...

I don't quite get it. Looks like a rubber core plug replacement has been installed in the block, and maybe doing that required getting the mount out of the way, and maybe that's why the mount came off if it wasn't properly tightened.
Just because the engine is resting on the crossmember doesn't make it a tough truck.
I've busted all three mounts on a car - two engine and the trans - and drove it for a bit.....not long....but it drove.
