Arrow Good Brush Guard / Roll & Light bar

Hey Guys,

I've been talking to my local 4WD shop about some brush guards and was looking for a second opinion from somebody a smidgen more knowledgeable than myself. The brand they're recommending for me is Buckstop and I really like the styling of the Outback guard they have available on their site, but I don't want to just buy something because it looks good. I want something that can handle some abuse, so I'm looking for input. Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

The other thing I'd like to find is a good frame mounted roll/light bar, preferably with the lights mounted to the front of the bar atop the roof of the cab due to my taste in aesthetics. Unfortunately the shop has told me that roll bars have mostly gone out of fashion, so I'm hoping somebody here has some recent experience. I really don't want anything gaudy, but again, in the event of emergency, I DO want something that will handle some abuse.

Thanks in advance for any input you guys and gals can offer, and rest assured it will be greatly appreciated.

our welder on the rig hammered a big deer with his buckstop bumper at 90mph and didn't phase it!

Those Buckstop bumpers do look nice. And they appear to be well-made. I also like the Winch Ready bumper, but it doesn't have the headlight guards that the Buckstop does.

For a roll bar, you're probably going to have to have one custom made, especially if you want it made out of something more substantial than exhaust tubing. Sadly, the majority of the push bars, roll bars, bumpers, and nerf bars on the market are only for show and won't withstand any kind of abuse at all.
