Default 03 Quad Cab max tire size

Since the weather is getting colder and I don't think my tires will make it through another winter, I am looking to get some new tires on my truck.

I have a stock 03 Quad Cab and was wondering what is the biggest tire I can put on the truck without major rubbing and keeping the stock wheels. A little rubbing here or there is fine. Been wanting to put some bigger AT or MT tires on my truck for awhile, just didn't know the max tire size for the stock Dakota.

4wd or 2wd? If 4wd 265s with no torsion crank, 285s with a little crank and in inner fender trimming

^ what he said. I think the 265/70-16 is the general consensus of the forum across the board. Or as he said, 285's with a little lifting on the nose.
